European creators Erik Biorklund and William Wenkel found Fort George on a sail along the Dalmation coast, fell in love, and made it their first property-based job. European founders worked with Croatian authorities on the renovation and included a museum with paintings and military paraphernalia. But that is certainly a location to party in the open air. Or throw a lavish destination wedding. Under the trees, with amazing views from every position, on a promontory.
